At Chicanoo, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users, designers, and partners to do the same. We have adopted the following general policy in accordance with U.S. intellectual property laws and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to address claims of copyright or other intellectual property infringement.

A. Reporting Copyright or Intellectual Property Infringement

If you believe that your work has been copied or used in a way that constitutes copyright or other intellectual property infringement on the Chicanoo platform, please submit a formal notice to our legal department at support@chicanoo.com (preferred method of contact). Your notice must comply with the DMCA and include all of the following information:

• A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property interest.
• A clear and specific description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, a representative list must be included.
• A description of the location of the material that you claim is infringing on Chicanoo.com, with enough detail to allow us to locate the content.
• Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• A good faith statement that you believe the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright or intellectual property owner, their agent, or the law.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner (or authorized to act on behalf of the owner) of the copyrighted or intellectual property.

Upon receipt of a valid infringement notice, Chicanoo may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. We will also make reasonable efforts to notify the user who posted the content, provide them with a copy of the complaint, and inform them of their right to submit a counter notice.

Important: Incomplete or non-compliant notices may be disregarded. Submitting false claims may expose you to legal liability under of the DMCA.

B. Submitting a Counter Notice (If Your Content Was Removed by Mistake)

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter notification to support@chicanoo.com. Your counter notice must comply with the DMCA and include the following:

• A physical or electronic signature of the account holder who uploaded the content.
• Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its location before it was removed.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification.

Your full name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district of your address, or if outside the U.S., for any judicial district where Chicanoo may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the original complaining party or their agent.

If a valid counter notice is received, Chicanoo may forward it to the original complaining party. Unless the original party files a lawsuit within 10 business days, Chicanoo may, at its discretion, restore the removed content.

Repeat Infringer Policy
Chicanoo reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights under appropriate circumstances.
