Wash & Wear Guide

Everything you need to keep your shirt fresh, durable, and looking brand new.

A. Washing – Keep the Fabric Safe

• Cold wash only — protects color and fabric structure.

• Turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the print.

• Use gentle/delicate cycle or hand-wash.

• Use mild detergent, avoid bleach or strong chemicals.

• Do not wash with items containing zippers, velcro, or hooks.

B. Drying & Ironing

• Air dry in the shade, avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading.

• Avoid high-heat tumble drying — this can shrink fabric.

• If you must use a dryer: choose low heat only.

• Iron on the inside of the shirt, never on the print.

C. Storage

• Fold or hang using wide/soft hangers to avoid stretching the collar.

• Store in a cool, dry place — avoid humidity and mold.

• Keep sharp objects or rough surfaces away from the print.

Will the color fade?

No — as long as you cold wash and avoid high heat.

Will the print crack or peel?

Very unlikely. Cracking only happens when exposed to extreme heat repeatedly.

Can I iron the shirt?

Yes — but only on the inside. Do not iron directly on the graphic.

Will the shirt shrink?

Natural cotton may shrink 2–5%, which is normal.

Can I return or exchange?

Yes. Chicanoo offers a 30-day exchange for any production error.
